Paul Yeaton, MD

Paul Yeaton, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia, and Professor of Internal Medicine and Radiology at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. He has served as section chief of gastroenterology at Carilion and as director of its gastroenterology fellowship program.

He earned his medical degree and completed his internship and internal medicine residency at West Virginia University, then completed gastroenterology fellowships at the University of Virginia and the Free University of Brussels. His clinical focus is interventional endoscopy, including therapeutic ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound, with an emphasis on pancreatic, biliary, and liver disease, gastrointestinal cancers, and non-surgical management of lesions of the stomach, duodenum, and colon.
