Mohamed Hossny, MD

Mohamed Hossny, MD, is an internal medicine resident at Augusta Health and Augusta Medical Group in Fishersville, Virginia. Originally from Egypt, he earned his medical degree from Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine and completed a one-year clinical research fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he remains involved in research and publications.

Clinical interests include hospital medicine, gastroenterology, quality improvement, and medical education. His work includes a Digestive Disease Week poster of distinction on fecal elastase testing in steatorrhea and exocrine pancreatic dysfunction.
