Daniel A. Portillo-Rodriguez, MD, is a PGY-2 resident at Hospital General de Zona No. 35 of the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez.
He is an early-career researcher with an interest in biliary disease. With Juan De Dios Diaz Rosales, MD, MSc, he co-authored a case report on pseudo-Mirizzi syndrome on ERCP as a warning sign of vanishing Calot syndrome.
