Alexandru Coseru, MD

Alexandru Coseru, MD, is a gastroenterologist with the Arcadia Medical Network in Iași, Romania. He trained at the Institute of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Iași and spent 12 months at the Centre Hospitalier de Perpignan, France. He teaches medical semiology and gastroenterology at Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iași, where he is a PhD candidate in pancreatology.

His practice covers diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy, polypectomy, variceal banding, stricture dilation, and abdominal ultrasound. He completed the ESGE Research Camp in Munich and won first prize in the endoscopy section of the 2025 National Summer School of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Sibiu. Published work includes a first-author case report on apixaban-induced superficial dissecting esophagitis (Diseases, 2024). Member of the Romanian Society of Gastroenterology, the Romanian Society of Digestive Endoscopy, and ESGE.
