The Conned Clip has some interesting and nice features. It is easily rotatable., even the scope is in retroflexion. It can open and close repeatedly, up to 50 times. This is a very convenient feature, as it allows the endoscopist to be 100% sure of the desired placement location (vessel, base of polyp, wound closure, etc). Additionally, this clip is quite big, with arm extending up of 16 mm. This allows for grasping more tissue or tackling larger defects. The clip is attached to a spring-tip area. This metal reinforced area allows for clip placement using duododescope (ERCP). Lastly, a nice trick, this clip also bends. If you push the handle forward, the clip may change direction as the clip bends like a “cobra” snake 🐍.
