Gastric ulcer gone rogue

First ogd done elsewhere in Oct 2021 , ulcer biopsies were reported as normal, when the patient presented to the hospital with Malena.He was given H pylori eradication and suggested follow up.

Clinical endoscopic image

Ogd in Nov 2023 reveals a giant ulcer at the same spot. He complained of epigastric pain with no loss of appetite or weight. He had increased bowel frequency and had come for colonoscopy.A spontaneous request by the patient for an ogd was given.

Biopsy results suggests signet ring variant of Adenocarcinoma.
