Summary
The peptide based supramolecular hydrogels are used for delivery of biologics and other medical means, and have the advantage of self-assembly, viscosity, biocompatibility, and biodegradability.
The gel is applied via a catheter and is pre-filled in syringes of various sizes.
The gel is mainly used for hemostasis, but there is also evidence that it can help with tissue regeneration and healing.
